When we look back on where we’ve come from, we gain courage and strength to move forward - to stay the course when things get hard.Sometimes we see the grace and poise we had during the struggle. Sometimes, looking back we see the rough edges of our attempts to stay afloat. Regardless if you gracefully or clumsily overcame, you still did it.
I recently shared 5 things I’ve overcome in my life. One of them was smoking. The healthy image you may have of me now wasn’t always so. I was a pack-a-day smoker for 10 years. I watched a tonne of TV, ate fast food, and could barely run the length of my street. Looking back I can see how far I’ve come.

No doubt you have come far. Reflecting on what you’ve overcome builds confidence. It shows you that you are capable. You are stronger than you know.
