I acknowledge that our work takes place on the territory of the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ (Ucluelet) Nation. Ucluelet is a Nuu-chah-nulth word known as ‘Dwellers of the Protected Place Inside.’ The Ucluth peninsula has been inhabited and stewarded by the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ people for more than 4,300+ years. I am committed to to learn and unlearn, grow and be a bridge for equity and social justice. I invite you to take a moment to reflect on whose land you are living and working on and if you don’t know, to research and reflect.
